ABSTRAK

Pada tugas akhir ini akan dianalisa besarnya respon dinamik sistem suspensi suatu kendaraan beroda empat yang berjalan di atas profil permukaan jalan yang berbentuk sinusoidal dengan variasi amplitudo jalan frekuensi eksitasi harmonik dan letak profil permukaan jalan sinusoidal. Dimana amplitudo yang digunakan 100 mm dan 200 mm dan frekuensi eksitasi harmonik yang digunakan 1 Hz dan 2 Hz. Letak profil permukaan jalan sinusoidal antara lain pada kedua roda depan kedua roda belakang salah satu roda depan salah satu roda belakang dan juga pada keempat roda kendaraan dengan beda fase antara kedua roda depan dan kedua roda belakang. Analisa yang dilakukan menggunakan metode elemen hingga dengan memodelkan struktur kendaraan dengan model satu kendaraan penuh. Suspensi yang digunakan memiliki besaran konstanta pegas dan peredam berdasarkan data spesifikasi kendaraan dan dengan menganggap chassis sebagai fleksible body. Hasil yang didapat dari tugas akhir ini adalah respon dinamik yang terjadi pada sprung mass yang berupa perpindahan vertikal kecepatan vertikal dan percepatan vertikal dari sebagian node-node pada struktur chassis yang diamati. Berdasarkan kriteria kenyamanan Janeway dengan mengamati perpindahan vertikal node dari elemen titik bermassa sebagai model beban sprung mass yang berada pada titik berat kendaraan dapat diketahui bahwa kendaraan tersebut masih nyaman dikendarai dengan besar perpindahan vertikal nodenya yang tidak melebihi amplitudo ijin Janeway 5087 mm untuk frekuensi eksitasi harmonik 1 Hz dan juga amplitudo ijin Janeway 63592 mm untuk frekuensi eksitasi harmonik 2 Hz.


ABSTRACT

This final project analyzed the dynamic system of suspension response of four wheel drive vehicle on the road which has a sinusoidal profile with variable amplitude harmonic excitation frequencies. The amplitudes vary with in 100 mm and 200 mm and the harmonic excitation frequencies are used are 1 Hz and 2 Hz. The points of sinusoidal road profile are the following two of front wheel drive one of front wheel drive two of rear wheel drive one of rear wheel drive and all wheel drive vehicle with differential fase between two front and two rear wheel drive. The analysis is done by finite element method by modeling vehicle structure of vehicle model with assuming chassis as a flexible body. The results of the dynamic responses are depicted on sprung mass which consist of vertical displacement vertical velocity and vertical acceleration chassis structure. Based on Janeway Criteria by analyzing the vertical displacement of mass point element as a sprung mass weight model in the vehicle centre of gravity it can be known that vehicle is still comfort to drive with the magnitude of vertical displacement is less than Janeway amplitude permited 50.87 mm at harmonic excitation frequency 1 Hz and Janeway amplitude permited 6.3592 mm at harmonic excitation frequency 2 Hz
