ABSTRACT

As the economics and industry growth increasing the demand of electrical energy in the future will also increase. In order to maintain the development in Indonesia especially at South and South East of Sulawesi providing more electrical energy will be needed. Capable capacity at South and South East of Sulawesi is no longer same with installed capacity due to old machineries and it will be not economic if those machineries still remained to work. Therefore adding new power plants will be needed in order to solve electrical energy demand at South and South East of Sulawesi. At this final project we analysed 2x125 MW Jeneponto power plant in order to solve electrical power crisis at South and South East of Sulawesi until 2012. Some aspects are studied and analysed which are thecnicality economics and environment. From analysing these aspect we knowed that 2x125 Jeneponto steam power plant will be able to solve electrical power crisis until 2012
