SURFACE RUB OFF AND RETENTION OF RAIN ANALYSIS WITH DIGITAL ELEVATION USING ARCGIS 9.2 SOFTWARE CASE STUDY LAMONGAN REGENCY

ABSTRAK

Kabupaten Lamongan memiliki curah hujan yang tinggi sehingga terjadinya luapan di sepanjang sungai Bengawan Solo. Akan tetapi faktor limpasan dan genangan air hujan di pengaruhi oleh empat faktor yaitu tutupan lahan ketinggian permukaan tanah intensitas curah hujan dan tekstur tanah. Namun dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi yang semakin cepat memberikan solusi tersendiri dalam pemecahan limpasan dan genangan air hujan. Adanya ekstensi Tiga Dimensi 3D Analyst yang terdapat pada software ArcGis 9.2 digunakan untuk penggambaran relief permukaan bumi dengan model di dalam komputer yang dikenal dengan Digital Elevation Model DEM. Pembuatan DEM menggunakan ekstensi 3D Analyst dengan software ArcGIS 9.2 dengan menggunakan data peta kontur. Sedangkan pengolahan citra SPOT 2 resolusi 20 meter dengan akuisisi 12 Januari 2008 menggunakan software ER Mapper 7.0. Hasil pengolahan citra SPOT 2 menghasilkan peta limpasan dan genangan air hujan dan peta tutupan lahan. Hasil overlay antara peta administrasi peta jaringan sungai peta limpasan dan genangan air hujan peta tutupan lahan DEM peta isohyet dan peta tekstur akan menghasilkan peta visualisasi limpasan dan genangan air hujan dengan faktor penyebab dan dampaknya. Dari hasil peta visualisasi limpasan dan genangan air hujan dengan faktor penyebab dan dampaknya menggambarkan daerah limpasan dan genangan air hujan disebabkan oleh vegetasi dalam jumlah sedikit di sepanjang Sungai Bengawan Solo ketinggian yang relatif sangat rendah yaitu 0-12.5 meter curah hujan 200-440 mmbulan pada bulan januari 2008 serta memiliki tekstur tanah yaitu liat liat berdebu dan lempung berliat dimana ketiga tekstur tanah tersebut memiliki sifat permeabilitas yang rendah. Di samping itu menggambarkan dampak daerah limpasan dan genangan air hujan dengan luasan 15.481834 Ha meliputi delapan kecamatan di Kabupaten Lamongan meliputi Laren Maduran Sekaran Babat Kalitengah Karangbinangu Glagah dan Karanggeneng. Namun yang paling parah berdampak pada Kecamatan Laren dan daerah tersebut memiliki peruntukan sebagai sawah kebun dan ladang badan air dan pemukiman.


ABSTRACT

Lamongan regency has high level of rainfall which leads to rain flotation along Bengawan Solo River. The cause of surfaces rub off and retention of rain are land-cover the height of ground-level rainfall intensity and soil texture. With the technology growth rapidly solutions are found in resolving surface rub off and retention of rain. For example the emerge of three dimension 3D Analyst extension exist in ArcGis 9.2 software that can be utilize for earth surface relief drafting via computer known as Digital Elevation Model DEM. The DEM construction utilize 3D Analyst ekstention using ArcGIS 9.2 software with data based on contour map. Meanwhile the process is accomplished using citra SPOT 2 with 20 meter resolution in addition of 12 January 2008 acquisitions along with ER Mapper 7.0 software. As the outcomes are surface rub off map retention of rain and land-cover map. The overlay result combining administrative map river network map surface rub off map and retention of rain land cover map DEM isohyet map and texture map is the surface rub off visualization and retention of rain as well as the cause and effects. Based on the visualization surface rub off map and retention of rain with the cause and effect illustrate that the area has low vegetation level along Sungai Bengawan Solo the height which relatively low which is 0-125 meters the rainfall 200-440 mmmonth during January 2008 along with ground texture as clay silty clay and clay cloam where those three textures have low permeability characteristic. Besides it demonstrates surface rub off and retention of rain area with 15.481834 Ha that 8 sub districts of Lamongan regency including Laren Maduran Sekaran Babat Kalitengah Karangbinangu Glagah and Karanggeneng. Yet the worst area affected is Laren sub district which allocate as rice field garden and field water-land and settlement area.
