ALTERNATIVE BASEMENT DESIGN AT SOFT SOIL IN MUSEUM SURAMADU FROM SURABAYA SIDE

ABSTRAK

Suramadu merupakan jembatan yang menghubungkan Surabaya dan Madura. Disamping pembangunan jembatan Suramadu pemerintah propinsi Jawa Timur juga membangun fasilitas-fasilitas penunjang Salah satunya adalah museum Suramadu. Museum Suramadu merupakan bangunan empat lantai dan satu lantai sebagai basement yang berada dilokasi sisi Surabaya dimana kondisi tanahnya adalah tanah lunak dengan muka air tinggi. Pembangunan basement biasanya mengalami kendala pada masalah tanah lunak dan air tanah yang tinggi. Tanah yang lunak akan berpengaruh pada perencanaan bukaan tanah untuk basement karena selain harus memperhitungkan faktor keamanan terhadap bidang longsor gedung sendiri maupun terhadap gedung atau bangunan di sekelilingnya. Jika tidak gedung disamping akan retak bahkan akan runtuh karena kehilangan daya dukung tanah akibat penggalian. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mencari desain optimal dari struktur basement yang kuat untuk menahan beban akibat struktur atas serta mampu menahan tekanan tanah dan air tanah up-lift stress yang berada pada tanah lunak serta memiliki muka air tanah yang tinggi. Untuk mendapatkan desain tersebut awalnya dilakukan dua Alternatif yaitu Alternatif pertama menggunakan pondasi Tiang Pancang dan Alternatif kedua menggunakan pondasi Bored Pile. Dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan dipilih Pondasi Tiang Pancang. Tipe tersebut dipilih karena total biaya konstruksinya yang murah yaitu 18.255.696.402 rupiah dengan kedalaman pemancangan 19 meter.


ABSTRACT

Suramadu is the bridge that connecting Surabaya and Madura. Beside Suramadu bridge development Province Goverment East Java also build the program to support bridge facilitiess. One of them are museum suramadu. Museum Suramadu is four floors building with one floor as basement that present in soft soil with high ground water table. The development basement usually have obstacle experience in soft soil problem and high ground water table. The soft soil influence soil excavation. Because it should concern with the safety factor of its opening and surround building. Otherwise the building arround the open cut would crack or even collapse consequence losing the support power of the soil. The objective of this Final project is to find the optimum design for structure basement capable to support the upper structure soil stress and up lift pressure which that present in soft soil with ground water table. The result of the optimal design for beginning two alternative for Basement the first alternative is use Pile foundation and the second is use Bored Pile Foundation. The conclusion of design calculation is using Pile foundation. The Pile foundation chosen because have low construction total cost that is 18.255.696.402 rupiah with the depth of pile is about 19 meters.
