THREE DIMENSIONAL MODEL DEFORMATION BASED ON SILHOUETTE IMAGES MODELS

ABSTRAK

Teknologi motion capture merupakan salah satu bagian penting dalam bidang komputer grafik. Teknologi ini digunakan untuk merekam gerakan obyek dan mengkoversi gerakan tersebut ke dalam bentuk model digital. Pada awalnya motion capture menggunakan penanda yang melekat pada obyek. Seiring berkembangnya bidang komputer grafik motion capture bisa dilakukan tanpa menggunakan penanda salah satunya menggunakan titik kunci dari gambar pose dari model. Selanjutnya titik kunci i-nilah yang digunakan untuk menggerakkan model tiga dimensi yang sudah ada. Sehingga didapatkan model tiga dimensi yang mengalami deformasi sesuai gambar pose model. Pada tugas akhir ini digunakan metode scale-invariant feature transform SIFT untuk mendapatkan titik kunci yang cocok tiap gambar pose model. Pencocokan titik kunci menggunakan metode SIFT mendapatkan nilai kecocokan terbesar mencapai 80 untuk gambar pose model bertekstur. Titik kunci yang cocok dipetakan ke titik muka model tiga dimensi yang didapat dari metode object-space silhouette. Titik muka ini berubah sesuai perubahan posisi titik kunci gambar pose model. Pada akhirnya deformasi model tiga dimensi berdasarkan perubahan titik muka hasil peme-taan dengan prosentase pemetaan dibawah 50 memberikan hasil yang sesuai gambar pose model dengan sudut perubahan armature maksimal sebesar 39 CCW. Ketika menggunakan tiga kamera diperoleh hasil deformasi yang mempertahankan bentuk tabung dibawah perubahan sudut pose sebesar 90 CCW dengan perbedaan sudut pose antara gambar acuan dan pembanding maksimal sebesar 45 CCW.


ABSTRACT

Motion capture technology is one important part in the field of computer graphics. This technology is used to record the movement of objects and convert movement to the digital model. Initially motion capture using markers attached to the object. With a growing field of computer graphics motion capture can be done markerless one is keypoints of the pose image of the model. Furthermore the keypoints is used to move the three-dimensional model that already exists. To obtain three-dimensional model that has deformation approaching pose image of the model. In this final project will be used scale-invariant feature transform SIFT method to get the matched keypoints each pose image of the model. Keypoints matching which uses SIFT method reach the best matching value at 80 for textured pose image of the model. Matched keypoints map into front-facing points of three-dimensional model that is gotten from object-space silhouette method. This front-facing points change appropriate the changing position of keypoints of pose image of the model. Last the three-dimensional deformation model based on changes in the face point mapping which results the mapping percentage below 50 give best results that match the image with the angle change of the model poses armature maximum at 39 CCW. When using three cameras obtained deformation results that maintain the shape under changes in pose angle of 90 CCW with pose angle difference maximum at 45 CCW between the reference and comparison images.
