Analisis kemampuan proses merupakan suatu teknik pengendalian kualitas statistik. Suatu proses dikatakan memiliki kemampuan apabila semua nilai variabel yang mungkin terletak dalam batas spesifikasi. Untuk mengukur kemampuan proses digunakan indeks kemampuan proses. Berbagai macam indeks kemampuan proses telah dikembangkan antara lain indeks kemampuan proses p C pk C pm C dan pmk C indeks kemampuan proses tersebut digunakan mengukur kemampuan proses tunggal sedangkan kebanyakan produk memiliki karakteristik lebih dari satu dan dihasilkan melalui lebih dari satu proses. Pada penelitian ini dikaji indeks kemampuan multiproses pki C yaitu indeks kemampuan proses pk C yang berlaku untuk masing-masing karakteristik kualitas i . Dari hasil kajian dapat disimpulkan suatu multiproses dikatakan capable apabila nilai indeks kemampuan multiproses pki C lebih besar atau sama dengan K dimana K merupakan fungsi invers kumulatif distribusi normal standart yang tergantung pada probabilitas karakteristik yang tidak sesuai spesifikasi untuk produk dengan proses multiple a dan banyaknya karakteristik produk dengan proses multiple m . Jika indeks kemampuan multiproses C K pki maka mean proses ada pada target sedang mean proses akan berubah dari target jika C K pki .


The analysis of process capability is a technic of statistic quality control. A process is know of having a capability if all of the possibility of variable values are stated in specification limit. To measure the process capability it is used a process capability index. Many kinds of process capability indeces have been developed such as the process capability index p C pk C pm C and pmk C that process capability index is used to measure a single process capability while most products have more than one characteristic and they are got from more than one process in this research it analyzed the multiprocess capability index pki C that is pk c process capability index that is used for each quality characteristic i . From the result of the research it can be concluded that a multiprocess is said capable if the value of multiprocess capability index pki C is higher or as same as K where K is a cumulative invers function of standard normal distribution that depends on characteristic probability whose specification is not suitable with multiprocess a and the number of product characteristic with multiple process m . If the multiprocess capability index C K pki the mean process is on target while mean process will be changed from target if C K pki .
