ANALYSIS OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL POSITION ACCURACY OF SMALL FORMAT NON-METRIC AERIAL PHOTOGRAPH USING THE COMBINATION OF VECTOR SPACE MODEL AND PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATION ALGORITHM

ABSTRAK

Salah satu perkembangan teknologi dalam fotogrametri adalah adanya teknik pengumpulan data dengan wahana tanpa awak UAV. Keuntungan penggunaan teknologi ini di antaranya lebih efektif dan efisien dari segi waktu dan lebih hemat dari segi biaya untuk pemetaan pada daerah yang tidak terlalu luas. Foto yang didapatkan dari hasil pemotretan menggunakan wahana ini merupakan foto udara format kecil non-metrik. Dari data foto udara format kecil non-metrik bisa didapatkan nilai posisi tiga dimensi permukaan bumi yang dihitung menggunakan persamaan kolinearitas. Penentuan nilai posisi tiga dimensi dari foto udara dengan menggunakan persamaan kolinearitas biasanya dibagi menjadi dua tahap tahap pertama adalah perpotongan ke belakang space resection untuk mendapatkan nilai orientasi luar tahap ke dua adalah perpotongan ke muka space intersection untuk mendapatkan nilai posisi tiga dimensinya. Metode yang dipaparkan pada penelitian ini dalam menentukan nilai posisi tiga dimensi dari foto udara adalah dengan menerapkan algoritma Particle Swarm Optimization dikombinasikan dengan model vektor. Algoritma Particle Swarm Optimization digunakan untuk menyelesaikan tahap perpotongan ke belakang space resection untuk mendapatkan nilai variabel orientasi luarnya. Model vektor yang mempunyai besaran dan arah digunakan pada tahap perpotongan ke muka space intersection sehingga didapatkan posisi tiga dimensi di permukaan bumi


ABSTRACT

One of the technological development in photogrammetry is the technique of collecting data using an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle UAV. The advantage of this technology which are more fficient in term of time and cost-efficient for making map in large scale and the areas that are not too broad. Kind of photo that is obtained from this vehicle is a small format non-metric aerial photograph. From this kind of photo we can get the value of three-dimensional coordinates of ground surface which is calculated with an equation named collinearity equation. The determination of three-dimensional coordinates of ground surface value using the collinearity equation is usually divided into two stages the first stage is space intersection stage to obtain the exterior orientation parameter values the second stage is space intersection stage to obtain the values of three-dimensional coordinate of ground surface. The method presented in this thesis in determining of three-dimensional coordinate values from aerial photograph is applying the algorithm of Particle swarm ptimization which is combined with vector space model. The algorithm of Particle Swarm Optimization is used to solve the space resection stage to obtain the exterior orientation parameter values. Vector space model is used to solve the space intersection to obtain the values of three-dimensional coordinate of ground surface.
